Scientific Pest Management Wagga Wagga is contracted by Defence Housing Australia to undertake all Pest Management work on DHA properties in Wagga Wagga. This work includes:

• Timber Pest (Termite) Inspections
• Spider and other pest Spraying and Treatments
• Pre Purchase Inspections

Defence Housing Australia conducts Termite Inspections on the vast majority of properties, both owned and leased, annually. These inspections are carried out to ensure termite activity and/or conditions that are conducive to termites do not go undetected.

In order to carry out these inspections, SPM technicians require access to your property both internally and externally. Our technicians are required to undertake a full inspection of the internal areas of the house, the roof void (which is accessed from inside the house or garage) and the external grounds including the backyard, front yard and any trees or garden areas that may be present on the property. A typical 4 bedroom home takes approximately 1 hour to inspect and you do not have to leave your home - you can be present while we are there.

SPM technicians are trained to look only for issues or possible problems in the building - we do not open drawers and cupboards other than when it is neccesary to do so in order to gain full access to inspect all areas. We do not move or touch your furnishings or belongings without your permission first, and we take the utmost care while we are in your home.

Defence Housing Australia provide us with your contact details, including your address and phone number, in order to allow us to contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time to conduct the inspection. Once the inspection is booked, you will receive a confirmation call the day before your inspection to make sure it is still convenient for us to come around.
